About Plumbline Daily
America's biggest construction builds and the world's boldest, ranked every morning for the people who build them, in the field and in the office. We track the major projects in every state and sector: data centers and power, factories, hospitals, schools, transportation, defense and more, plus the makers whose lead times set the schedule.
How it works
- We read the trade press so you don't have to. Three times each weekday the desk pulls the major construction, data center, power and contech outlets, groups reports of the same news, and ranks what matters to people who build.
- Private work first. We follow where owners and developers are spending: data center campuses, power plants and grid upgrades, factories, and the makers whose lead times set the schedule. Government news makes the cut when it moves private projects.
- Free and paid. The Toolbox Talk is our free newsletter, in your inbox at 6 AM Eastern every weekday; on Fridays it's The Week on Site, with downloadable Field Charts. Project Signals, coming soon, is a paid upgrade for readers who want territory alerts and the full project board.
- Every story links to the original. Headlines are the outlet's own; the reporting belongs to the outlet, and we send you to it. When the desk adds a field note, it's in our words.
- A person approves every edition. Software ranks; the desk decides. Sponsors never change rank or field notes.
- Project Signals come from public records: council and commission agendas, state registrations, permits and utility filings. A project is "Confirmed" only when two independent sources agree.
